Daniela
Caravita was born in Ravenna in 1964. She graduated from the Liceo
Statale "P.L.Nervi" (1982) and received her diploma from
the Accademia di Belle Arti with a thesis on "Modern Mosaic"
(1986).
Since 1985 has worked in various studios in Ravenna (Studio Signorini,
Coop. Mosaicisti, Associazione Internazionale Mosaicisti Contemporanei)
producing a variety of mosaic work, including:

suitable for the interior or exterior of private and public buildings
(furnishings, pavements, wall pieces).
In 1994 creates Mos Art, workshop for the production of the mosaic
that makes use of the collaboration of other stakeholders.
Since
2005 is a role teacher of Painting Disciplines at Liceo Artistico
"Nervi-Severini" in Ravenna.
In recent times is dedicated to the creation of mosaics taken from
personal projects, focusing on the study, research and elaboration
of the mosaic portrait.
